I died last night

 

 

I died last night
Or was it at dawn today?

Just cannot put a time to it
Cause my watch died before I did

Not sure where the watch ended up
Probably happily running again in a timeless loop

But, I am worried as to where I am headed
Heaven, Hell or back to the disaster called earth?

Stranded in limbo
With neither instructions nor directions

Expected more from the celestial bureaucrats
But, they are just like common civil servants
More talk and less action

Believed I will get a chance for selfie with God
Maybe one with Satan too
Unsurprisingly, both seem to be missing in action

Maybe they are caught up
Caught up in a heated heavenly parliamentary session
To decide which of the myriad of Gods should greet me
Assuming there is an Atheist God out there

I died last night
Or, so I had thought

Maybe this is a convoluted dream
Or just another crazy nightmare

I am so confused
But, now I am sure of one thing
My watch is definitely dead!
