Where is God?

 

 

God is missing
His temples empty, his followers scattered
Has he gone into hiding?
Or was he ever there?

Now who am I going to thank for all the good things?
And who am I going to blame when things go bad?

The atheist was laughing
I told you so, he said
There is no God
You suffer because of your own ignorance
You enjoy the benefits of your own hardwork

Not so fast, said the devotee
There is only God,
God is omnipotent and omnipresent
Your woes are because you have no faith
Your happiness is His grace

My questions remain unanswered
Where is God?
What is he up to?
