One for the road
The first was just a starter
The second was gone before long
The third got me into the mood
Had to speed up the fourth as it was unlucky to keep it for long
The fifth loosened me up
But somehow the sixth gave me anxiety
The seventh will calm you down they said
It did and a quick eighth gave me courage
The ninth was bliss
By the tenth I needed to take a piss
When I got back I could not remember
Was it the fourth or the fifth?
No, it must have been the sixth
And the next two were already double parked
“Come on bro you need to catch-up quick,” someone said
The next one took longer than expected
But, who cares when the music was suddenly relatable
Still not sure of what happened to the eighth
All I can remember was “one more for the road”
Not once, not twice, not sure how many times
Now, where did I put my car keys?
