Journey into the unknown

 

You cannot outrun it
You cannot cheat it
Death comes to all

For every beginning there is an end
For every start there is a finish

It concludes in a mystery
Or is it just the start of the enigma

Hell or heaven is just a fantasy

All I want to know is
Can our final moment be euphoric?

Why should it end in a whimper?
Like switching off the lights?

I want it to be exhilarating
I want to be ecstatic
After all it is the journey into the unknown
