Have I been here before?

Distant yet familiar
Confusing yet realistic

Am I just retracing my own footsteps?
Or am I just caught on a time loop?

Given a chance to change my future

For me to relive my mistakes
It still hurts the same

Is it just another test?
To assess my frailty
It still discomforts me
