Solitude

 

 

For some solitude is poison
In small dosages
It is sweeter than honey
Prolonged it is a soul killer

For others solitude is curative
In small dosages
It is bitter as bile
Prolonged it is medicine for the soul

Some find despair in isolation
Some find terrorism in seclusion

Yet,
Buddha found nirvana in solitude
Picasso found art in loneliness

Solitude
A poisoned chalice or nectar of the gods?
