Perfection
They are the new brigade
The holier than thou cult
They who eat responsibility for breakfast
Morality for lunch,
Ethics for tea,
Duty for dinner,
And religious sanctity for supper
They set standards so high
Mother Theresa would fail
Mahatma Gandhi would be a washout
Nelson Mandela would flop
Why even God would be a dud
They talk about values so pristine
The sky would not be blue enough
Plain water would not be clear enough
Sugar would not be sweet enough
And the Mariana Trench may be too shallow
Chill out, guys!
The perfect girlfriend does not exist
There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow
There is no cure for the common cold
And the Yeti would be easier to find than the flawless politician
We don’t have to be perfect to be amazing
