Act of cowardice

 

We speak of equality among men
Yet we behave as superiors to others
We preach that God is love
Yet to we kill in the name of God

There is no justification
There is no validation
There is no rationalization
There is no excuse

Heinous acts are just that
It does not get sanctified by invoking God
It does not get purified by religion

Atrocity against the innocent
Is an act of cowardice
Is the work of the spineless
It is neither religious nor is it God’s bidding
