The donkey had the temerity to challenge the horse to a race
And it and won!
The nerd had the courage to dare the jock to a fist fight
And he served up a KO!

The tone deaf had the audacity to enter a singing contest
And she rocked!
The mime had the nerve to do stand-up comedy
And he brought the house down!

The rook challenged the queen.
And it cleaned the board!
The convict had the insolence to question the judge
And he was acquitted!
The atheist had the impudence to question God
And she was what she was!

The underdog is supposed to lose
But they don’t have to lose!

Chutzpah! Bravado! Guts!
Think out of the box!
Challenge the norm!
Seize the day!
Winning is an attitude.
