I don’t like it one bit

 

I don’t like it one bit,
I don’t like how the country is being looted,
I don’t like the excuses given to justify the madness,
I don’t like that they insult my intelligence,
I don’t like their zombie like followers,
And I certainly don’t like dissenters being oppressed.

I don’t like it one bit,
I don’t like the misogyny,
I don’t like racism being acceptable,
I don’t like that the rule of law is manipulated for the benefit of some,
I don’t like profligacy taking precedence,
And I certainly don’t like the ignorance of the educated.

I don’t like it one bit,
I don’t like all the subtle brainwashing,
I don’t like the feeling of being herded like a sheep to the slaughter,
I don’t like that they think I don’t know my rights,
I don’t like being told what colour attire I should wear,
And I certainly don’t like respecting the demagogue or the dictator.

I don’t like it one bit,
I don’t like to define whose God is better,
I don’t like being treated as a stranger in my own land,
I don’t like that equals are treated unequally,
I don’t like the false pretence of privilege,
And I certainly don’t like to visualize what lies ahead.
