Drink! Drank! Drunk!
He drank beer when he was happy,
Stout when he was sad
He drank whiskey at the club,
Brandy when he was at home
He drank Chardonnay with his wife,
Merlot if he was dining alone
He drank anytime of the day,
No matter what the occasion
He drank at weddings,
He drank at funerals
He is a stickler for routine
He starts the day with a beer or two,
Before switching to tequila as starters for his lunch
A bloody Mary for desert
For tea it is tequila,
Vodka while waiting for dinner
He ends the day with a scotch nightcap
But if it was past midnight,
He is compelled by routine,
To start the day with a beer or two
In olden days he would have been the village drunk,
But now he is known as a connoisseur
Drink!
Drank!
Drunk!
