End of the world
The end of the world is on the horizon
Venus had gone rogue and is hurtling towards earth
The nights are dark and the days are shorter
The oceans are calmer and the tides smaller
For the moon is no longer there
The impact from Venus
Has the moon careering towards Ceres
The cows were hardly bothered
As they happily grazed the fields
The bees were busy
Going from flower to flower, collecting honey
The cats preferred to laze around
While the dogs continued their vigilance
The whales were confused but continued swimming nevertheless
But no word is enough to describe
What has become of the smartest of them all – Man
Oh!
The despair
The violence
The debauchery
The anguish
God is reviled
Faith is forgotten
Every man for himself
Swallowed by his own sorrow
Tormented by the inevitable
Struck down by the hopelessness
While the cows happily grazed the fields
